Mint Rare Complete
A book so rare that might be the one?
I bought a new copy of Douglas Adams' "More Than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide" 14 years ago. When I got home I found out the factory deck was tied upside down! It's hard back edition with gold pages cut and black tassel hanging. I think it is the first edition because the numbers on the copyright page are 12 11 10 9. Not surprise me if the author had a hand in an inverted copy being released to the public, to suit your style. Douglas Adams, sadly died several years ago, so I lost my chance ask about it. I checked on google and Ebay several times, but have found no mention of another setback one. I bought a regular copy to read what my strange still in mint / new condition. My question is: How do I know if it's really the only one like it?
I have found at least two references to an impression of this edition is directed backwards. So while it seems odd, is not the only of its kind. I know that was not the answer you're looking for, but I hope this leads you to discover how many could be in print. The first print had a significantly typoon spine label, namely books is called "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe" and "The moderation in the End of the Galaxy.
